Relationship between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan

On December 21, 1991, the Republic of Azerbaijan was recognized as an independent state Tajikistan. The diplomatic relations between these countries were established on November 16, 1994. While Tajikistan has an embassy in Azerbaijan located in Baku, Azerbaijan is yet to open one in Tajikistan. However, the country is planning to open an embassy in Tajikistan soon.
