Relationship between Azerbaijan and Palestine

On December 21, 1991, the Republic of Azerbaijan was recognized as an independent state Palestine. The diplomatic relations between these countries were established on November 16, 1994. While Palestine has an embassy in Azerbaijan located in Baku, Azerbaijan is yet to open one in Palestine. However, the country is planning to open an embassy in Palestine soon.
